More About Me
For as long as I could remember, I’ve always wanted to help others, starting with skipping recess to help my teachers.
When high school came around, I joined the school’s student body where we did over 60+ hours of community service. It made me feel as though I was really apart of my community and making a difference in people’s lives, even if it was just passing water to joggers doing marathons.
For college, I majored in Family and Human Development with the curiosity of how and why people do things the way they do. While I was working towards my bachelor’s degree, I gained work experience with those of all walks of life. I learned how to help those with special needs, took care of young children who crossed the border by themselves through a government project, and now I’m at a Montessori preschool and kindergarten as an administrative assistant.
If I’m not helping others, I’m indulging myself in designing or drawing. With this, I wanted to challenge myself and make something out of my artistic abilities. Which is how and why I decided to become a UX/UI Designer. Taking my passion for helping others and combining my artistic abilities, the UX/UI Designer career path is the perfect role I could transition to.
